Milled Logs

Milled logs are run through a mill to a consistent diameter and profile, so every log matches the next. If raw logs are about natural variation, milled logs are the opposite — they’re for builders who need predictability, tight fits, and a clean, uniform look. We mill logs for log-wall construction, cabin packages, and any project where consistency matters, and we deliver across the Wasatch Front and statewide.

The advantage of milling

When logs are milled to a set diameter, they stack, notch, and align far more predictably. That means faster builds, tighter joints, and far less on-site fitting. Instead of working around the natural taper of every log, your crew gets uniform material they can measure and cut once.

Profiles and dimensions

We mill to round-on-round, D-profile, and tongue-and-groove profiles in diameters from 6″ to 16″, in lengths up to 20′. Need a custom profile? Send us your spec sheet or a sample and we’ll match it. We work in lodgepole pine, Engelmann spruce, and Douglas fir.

Best for

  • Full log-wall homes and cabins
  • Log home kits and packages
  • Structural and decorative log posts
  • Any project needing repeatable dimensions across many pieces
