Raw Logs
Raw logs are logs in their most natural state — bark on, untouched, exactly as they came off the tree. If you want the most rustic, organic look for a project, this is where it starts. We supply raw logs across Utah to builders, log-home crafters, landscapers, and property owners who want authentic character rather than a uniform, machined finish.
What “raw” means
A raw log keeps its natural taper, bark, and surface — no peeling, no milling. Every log is a little different, and those knots, curves, and color variations are exactly what give raw-log projects their one-of-a-kind feel. Because there’s no processing, raw logs are also typically our most affordable option.
Common uses
King Posts, rustic accent posts, natural-look deck and stair railings, mantels, landscape and retaining features, feature walls, furniture stock. Raw logs are also the natural starting point for anyone who plans to peel or mill logs themselves.
Species and sizes
We carry Lodgepole pine, Engelmann spruce, Douglas fir, typically in diameters from 5″ to 32″ and lengths up to 42ft. Need something specific? We can source other custom sizes. Because raw logs are natural, exact dimensions vary log to log — tell us about your project and we’ll pull material that fits.
Why buy raw logs from us
Thirty-plus years selecting Utah timber means we know how to pick logs that hold up and look right for what you’re building. We hand select every order and deliver across the USA.
